MelonenKacke builds custom boards made to fit the skater. We are distance skating fanatics ourselves and have a lot of knowledge in board building, LDP setups, LDP technique. All of this combined results in us building boards that fit the skater. With this we now have a growing MelonenKacke family with happy skaters all around the world <3
Durability and Performance aproved!
We don't rush new boards and trucks on the market and let our customers test it. All our boards and trucks have been tested excessively on durability and performance by the MelonenKacke team beforehand.

MelonenKacke boards don't delam, get cracked cores or have a flex that wears out over time. What’s made for distance should last a distance!

All parts of our trucks that can wear down over time are replaceable and we use materials that won't wear down fast. No more worn-out pivots after 2000km, causing you to replace the complete truck each year.

As we are distance skating fanatics, we know that better equipment brings us further. All our boards and trucks have been tested on performance and will only get released if we stand 100% behind the performance of our products. Developing new gear often takes many prototypes until we've finetuned them matching our expectations. Taking these steps is totally worth it!

As being part of a generation that grew up inside the climate crisis, we take high value minimizing waste and making our products sustainable.

MelonenKacke boards are handmade in our small workshop. We don't produce cheaply on another continent shipping back and forth materials and finished products. We also take high value in not exploiting other humans.

Our boards are incredibly durable. From all boards that we build never one returned broken. Literally boards from customers have been run over by cars and those boards still skate like on day one. That's crazy! With durable boards we minimize waste and energy used to manufacture.

We carefully choose materials keeping in mind the environmental and health aspect. We try to avoid working with toxic and carcinogenic materials as much as possible.

No more generic 7-9 ply boards in different shapes. Our boards are all made with innovative constructions with the goal in mind to reduce weight, increase durability and performance! Quality over quantity. We take our time carefully producing boards for you.

Over the past years of research and development we learned a lot about lightweight, durable constructions. We found parameters that we can adjust to improve the performance of our boards and trucks.

We don't hesitate to build prototypes and learn from failing prototypes. This is a time-consuming task, but in the end totally worth it.

Our boards are made quite different to normal boards. Many of our boards are made of different puzzle pieces from different materials fitting together. The different materials are there for a reason and support the board with its material properties. MelonenKacke boards skate unlike any other board out there. They stand out with their torsional stiffness where needed and the fitting flex pattern for pumping, in order to minimize energy loss and increase performance!
