Hi, I'm Lena!
I am the crazy head behind MelonenKacke. I began building boards because I wasn't satisfied with what was offered on the market. Now that escalated!! I never planned on selling boards. As interest rose in my boards while I was sharing about my innovative board constructions, I started building decks for fellow LDP skaters. Fast forward to today: now there is a growing MelonenKacke family worldwide. For me the best part is that this business gives me a foundation to innovate and bring new ideas to the LDP world! I also absolutely love to get to know you all and build a fitting board for you<3
As you can see on the picture, I don't take marketing to seriously. It's all about the quality and performance of the product! And that is what matters most to me!

Probably my will to improve goes too far, but I don't care. If better boards bring you further why not try to build better boards? I've been doing this over the past years working together closely with the MelonenKacke team: Marwin van Rijen, Paul Mc Mahon and Viola Weinert. They are experienced and competitive LDP skaters who want the same as I do: developing the best possible LDP equipment. Together we've been testing MK products excessively on durability and performance. We've been debating on how we can improve parts furthermore. No idea is too crazy if it improves LDP!
Our innovation has also been proven in the results of our skates. Over the past years MK riders have setup new records and ended up on several podium places. Find out more here.
