Meet my favorite bearings.
I pump a lot and have always noticed that my bearings develop sideways play after some time, except for these bearings! The outer rings are made of "extra tough" steel, and I think that’s why they hold their line so well over the long run.
These bearings are oiled for fast and efficient rides, which means you have to oil them yourself frequently. I keep this set of bearings for competitions. I clean them properly and oil them after each competition.
I have also used them for training, and I found them very durable here as well! My lazy method of taking care of them is not taking them apart, but instead dropping 1-2 drops of oil on the shields and spinning the wheels every now and then. When I had a rainskate, I added oil directly after the skate and spun them. This way, I prevented rust.
These Bearings Feature:
- G10 balls (Precision level and suraface finish of the balls used in bearings)
- Extra tough steel on inner and outer ring to hold bearings precise and fast for a longer time.
- Black oxide surface treatment on outer ring for corosion resistance
- Built-in half-spacers with extra-wide flanged ends: Align bearings a lot better inside the wheel. Less sideway slob.
If you're looking for durable, high-performance bearings that can withstand more sideloads from side-to-side pumping and give you the speed and reliability you need, these are the ones to get.
