With an 80.5mm diameter, the Seismic Alphas are ideal for fast and efficient pumping. Using the high-performance Defcon formula, you get high top speed and long rolling distance. The urethane allows for high rebound, which is perfect for fast and effortless pumping. These wheels are my number one pick if I want to pump a lot and fast. Because of the smaller diameter, they are also great for tracks with lots of uphills. I set the 24-hour world record on these wheels!
 
Just like the Megawatts, the Alphas have a concave contact patch. With this, the wheel flexes even more while pumping. This acts like a spring and gives you more rebound with each pump.

In rear: Mango 76a DH width Alpha
 
Why wider in the rear? The wider rear allows the wheels to flex more while pumping. This gives you more rebound, and you can pump faster and easier. Wider wheels also give you a better lift arm on low-degree rear brackets, minimizing wheel lift.
In the front, I keep the wheel harder and narrower. This minimizes resistance on fast side-to-side pumping turns and increases roll efficiency.
