Yes the Version 2 of the Drop² is ready for production! We've improved our beloved Drop² in some areas:
Tapered shape: The Drop² now features a taper going to the rear of the board. This minimizes the risk of hitting the rear of the mudflaps while pushing!
Using even better Carbon fibers. These special carbon fibers are 20% stiffer and stronger.
Better Carbon fibers results in reducing weight. For a rider weight up to 80kg the board generally weights around 1350 grams.
 
The Drop² is a beast. It's a compact ride with 69 cm wheelbase for narrow turns, making sure you can easily manouver around traffic. It has MelonenKackes proprietary Carbon Cork technology for quick and precise deck response. With the integrated mudflaps you are prepared for rain and slugs.
 
The Drop² features probably the steapest drop ever made on a longboard. With a drop of 6cm over a length of only 5 cm, this thing is super low. Your front foot will stand close to the truck! Additionally it has concave and thin edges. This allows for more lean without the board scratching over the pavement. The Drop² is specifically developed for narrow trucks. You have even more wheelclearnce than on most bracket setups! Pump this board wheelbite free with narrow trucks and big wheels.
